I stumbled upon your band completely by chance and i''m glad i did!!! Deadlands is really one of the best melodic doom metal album i''ve ever listened to!!! Beautiful riffs, and atmospheres... and your singer has a very unique voice for the genre which adds up greatly to the versatility of your band... Nothing more to say... I was completely blown away... My favorite songs are Rust Cleansing, Faceless, Deadlands & Resonatine Can''t wait to hear your new album!!!!!!! P>s: Many bands out there are playing music just for the sake of making money............Your divine music sincerely comes from your "hearts", souls and minds and there''s no denying that.......

I discovered Madder Mortem on a goth radio (??) on the net. I have the mcd and the 3 albums so far. Hte first time i heard the band a thought came to my head: "Death".I know that the Death was a death metal band, but the technique that Chuck applied on the bands music is quite similar to Madder Mortem...and i LOVE IT!! I wish i could have seen MM live here with Opeth, but i''ll be there next time. Great songs,great lyrics...awesome band!! Keep true to the Metal spirit, and please, keep your roots alive. Peace. Hei Birger! Skulle bare takke, på vegne av Turdus, for en sinnsykt bra innsats bak spakene under innspillinga i Space Valley de siste to ukene. Vi var rett og slett jævla imponert over dine tekniske skills og, ikke minst, evne til detaljpirkeri (i ordets mest positive forstand). Har hørt masse på Deadlands-skiva siden da, og det låter kanonfett. Rock on!
