HEY dudes you guys are amazing! I love my name is silence.. when are you coming to england?

Madder Mortem has blown me away for the past three years. An original and underated band that I hope will be recognized amid all the mediocrity plaguing the heavy metal genre. The video for "My Name Is Silence" is insane- right now its 4 am and I can''t stop watching it.

Good morning, friends from Madder Morten Band, my name is Antonio Augusto Cesar Junior, I live in Brazil, in the middle of a jungle, the Amazon Forest, at State of Pará, so if you take a look at the map, at north of Brazil, Belém is the capital. So I´m sorry by bothering you, but I love your sounds, the way you play your musics, all the instruments very well played, that´s because I love your musics very much. Please, if you can do me a favor, so this is important to me, you could send to me a PROMO CD from your musics, the way you play your songs is really fantastic, the radio is called CAbana FM 103,3, please, if you can do this to me, so if you give me the permission to play your songs in a FM Station here in my city, ok, if you don´t give me the right to do it, believe me I won´t play. I don´t lend my cd´s to anybody I keep them at my bedroom, only to me hear them. I´m 41 years old, but I love music, this is very important to me. I really thank you if you can do this dream to become true, if don´t, is a great pleasure to write an e-mail to a great band. Thanks again and God blesses you in your musician life. My address is Rua São Francisco 833. Bairro Batista Campos, CEP 66023530. Belém Pará Brazil. Take a look at these sites of my city, you´ll love them, and will know better where I live. www.cdpara.pa.gov.br/ingles/download.htm www.cowley.addr.com/photos/brazil/belem.html www.galenfrysinger.com/belem_brazil.htm http://www.amazon.com.br/~veludo/Salinas/Salinas.html http://www.cdpara.pa.gov.br/ingles/tourism/salin.html

The first time I heard MM was on a show with Opeth, in Portugal. I liked it a lot, so I went to find their records. I though very interesting the way you use the heavy guitars to harmonize the vocals. It''s very subtile and very well done. Heard your new song. Very "disturbing". Very good. I have to be honest: I don''t even care what the lyrics are about (sorry, but I''m listening to music, not reading a book), neither like you visual dimension (which I think has something to with goth rock or something like that), which proves you are very good musicians, because there are a lot of well known bands that if we take the concepts and the visuals off, what remains is "zero". Fortunately, it''s not your case. You''d still be great if you dressed any other way. Keep on rocking.

Got "Desiderata" from cdon.com about 1 1/2 weeks ago and I love it! Probably my favourite metal album of this year (since it´s very unlikely that Monika Edvardsen will rejoin Atrox). Unfortunately, it seems some people simply can´t bear musical originality/an original female voice - like the guy who wrote the review in the German magazine Rock Hard and complained about Agnete´s disharmonic vocals, stating she sounded like a "female Iranian human rights activist on drugs".

I saw you years ago touring with Opeth, now my cd-player is familiar to your records. Will there soon be any gigs in Germany?

Kudos on the concert. It was great! Agnete: I loved this line from the Imhotep interview : "As for hope, I''d like some, but the 7-11''s in Oslo don''t seem to carry it..."
